Happy Birthday Kael

Today was Kael's 6th birthday party. It was his 1st surprise birthday party too! I think he was in shock at first, but when straight toward his giant mound of gifts and goodies :)

The kids had a chance to take their turn at hitting the pinata. It took a while to get a crack in it, but those kids were hitting it SO HARD that the broom handle was breaking!! They finally busted Lightning McQueen and was able to score up some candy!

This was actually a 2 part photoshoot, to celebrate Kael's birthday, but to also get some pics to send to his daddy and to the other families daddies who are currently deployed. I hope these soldiers treasure these pictures while they are separated from their families <3

Pretty in Pink!

I finally was able to get some decent pictures of Syrianna-woohoo!! This is a big deal, not only because I (her mommy) wants to have pictures of her, but also because she was on assignment to model some boutique items and I have to provide pictures that are in focus--this is hard to do when shooting a 2 yr old-well, at least MY 2 yr old.

Simply Daisy

Sierra had another boutique modeling assignment. This time it was to model some flower earring. And where better model flower earrings than in a field of daisies??! Cute?-YES!

Sierra continues to grow as a model, I love working with her--not just because shes my little sister, but shes just so adorable and fun. You should see some of the 'blooper' pics I have of her--I should do a blog someday of just the MANY different faces of Sierra--they are hilarious!   :)

Bottle Pop

Another boutique shoot we got to do. This was actually our first attempt at modeling for a boutique. These have been fun to do, and of course I LOVE shooting with my sister Sierra <3

The only downside to doing these types of photo shoots is that I have to get approval from the boutiques before I can post any pictures!! :(

Christen

Christen is also involved in boutique modeling and asked me to shoot her pictures. She was asked to model a flower clip (so cute) and a headband. I had a lot of fun working with her. It is a little challenging doing shots for a boutique because I have to shoot what they are asking me to. I have to make sure that my focus is on the product and not necessarily the shots I want to capture. I am defiantly up for this challenge and loved working with Christen. I think these shots turned out pretty well and displayed the product nicely.
