Black Swan

Recently I have been presented with a new challenge: Photographing for Boutiques. Both my daughter and sister are registered to model for boutiques and we just got some new products in to model. Sierra had some certain criteria that the boutique had requested for her photo shoot. They wanted a more serious look. So here is our Black Swan shoot:  

 

We played around in the water with some Black Swan Ballet poses, love the look of the water drops in these pictures.

Evan's Birthday: Balloon Release

Yesterday we celebrated the life of Evan Davies. Evan was born 1 year ago, but due to complications during delivery, he passed away 4 days later. Evan's mommy and daddy asked those who wanted to participate in a birthday celebration, to write him a special note and send it to Evan with a balloon release. This is our celebration.

We made a spice cake and it was very yummy!! Syri dipped into the frosting too :)

We took individual pictures with the balloon and each had the option to say a silent prayer or whatever each of us felt we needed/wanted to say.

Thank you Evan and Evans family for letting us celebrate your birthday with you. It was a touching experience for us all <3 We know Evan will love our notes and birthday balloon!!

Cheyenne: Sneak Peek

Cheyenne hasn't had professional pictures done since she was about 7, and I was lucky enough to be able to book a photoshoot with her!

 She is so adorable and I had a lot of fun taking her pictures. I think she was excited too, she came with several different outfits and props that she picked out SEVERAL days in advance :)

 Our location was AMAZING! I am so happy that we were able to shoot there, so pretty!!

I told her I wanted some attitude, and she gave it!! Great Job!

 

 Cheyenne is also good friends with my sister, and since they were moving out of town, I got some pictures of the two together.

 They are so cute together, and wouldn't stop giggling!!
